As we continue to move forward with CleanPAP™, our mission is to deliver a product that makes CPAP cleaning as simple and effective as possible. Here’s a quick look at our latest developments and what’s coming next!
Product Requirement Refinements
Our team has been fine-tuning CleanPAP™’s design with usability in mind. Some of the latest enhancements include compatibility with common storage spaces, like under-sink cabinets, and additional user-friendly options:
- Cycle Customization: CleanPAP™ will feature a standard cycle, with an option for “more dry” if needed.
- Notifications & Alerts: We’ve added notification alerts for cycle completion and any errors needing attention, giving users peace of mind and ease of operation.
We’re excited about these changes and believe they’ll make CleanPAP™ even more convenient and efficient for daily use.
Testing Progress – Results & Enhancements
In our ongoing cleaning validation tests, we’re simulating real-world conditions to ensure CleanPAP™’s performance. Using specialized test soils representing common contaminants, we’re making sure each cycle achieves optimal results. Here are some highlights:
- Heating and Drying Efficiency: Initial tests are showing impressive reductions in heating and drying times, an area we know is critical for quick and effective cleaning.
- Component-Specific Testing: We’re focused on key CPAP components, including F20 masks and AirSense 10 hoses, ensuring that CleanPAP is designed to meet the needs of real CPAP users.
Next Steps – What’s Ahead
Our next steps include additional testing to perfect cleaning times and agitation, finalizing an alpha layout for component sizing, and advancing our regulatory documentation. Plus, our engineers are hard at work on the main control circuit and firmware development.
